The LMU-College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is establishing a foundation team of outstanding, visionary faculty and staff who are collaborating in designing and implementing an outstanding veterinary academic program.

The CVM is diligently committed to compliance with all of the standards of accreditation of the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association for the award of the DVM professional degree.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:


Director of the Center for Innovation in Veterinary Education and Technology(CIVET)

The Center for Innovation in Veterinary Education and Technology(CIVET) was established by the vanguard thinkers at Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) to incite and support the dynamic improvement of veterinary education. CIVET is a diverse group that includes researchers investigating novel veterinary educational methods, disruptors of traditional didactic lectures, creators of models for clinical skill simulations and assessments, and front-line clinical educators. These CIVET investigators of change aim to find and share creative solutions to the modern challenges of delivering veterinary education. The Director of the Center for Innovation in Veterinary Education and Training at the LMU-CVM is responsible for leading research efforts in veterinary medical education including grant preparation. The successful candidate will develop veterinary medical educational resources, graduate programs, models and innovative instructional methods, and conduct validation of these programs and initiatives. Additionally, the director will be responsible for developing and promoting the center as a resource for veterinary medical institutions.

DVTC Clinical DVM - Large Animal

The Large Animal Clinical DVM will primarily provide instruction focusing on the clinical (fourth) year curriculum at the DeBusk Veterinary Teaching Center. Clinical services will consist of ambulatory visits in the local area as well as in-house care of the teaching herds. On-call will be limited and shared amongst clinical year clinicians. The veterinarian will provide oversight and content delivery to students in clinical case management and select didactic lectures. They will work closely with faculty specializing in large animal medicine, large animal surgery, anesthesiology and theriogenology. They will, in consultation with other large animal faculty, develop and implement a comprehensive herd health program for care and management of the teaching herds of horses and production animals at LMU and assume primary oversight of the comprehensive herd health plan and its administration by fourth year students.


Veterinary Admissions Recruiter

The Veterinary Admissions Recruiter for the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) is responsible for recruiting and advising prospective applicants for admission to the LMU-CVM. The position will include periods of extensive travel. Additionally, the Veterinary Admissions Recruiter will perform functions to process veterinary student applications and other duties within the Office of Student Services and Admissions.
